As a recent newlywed, I've been drinking far more champagne than I used to, and not just the bubbly kind.
At work, I’ve been pouring a different kind altogether: leading internal programs that run on Launchpad to streamline how we operate every day.
A few years ago, that wasn’t the case.
When Launchpad first hit the market, I was managing our growing Provider* roster the old-fashioned way in Excel. Start dates, contract IDs, status notes, all living across tabs, stitched together with color coding and manual updates. Every time an executive asked a simple question, I'd track down a Provider Success Manager across three time zones and wait days for an answer.
*Launchpad refers to its clients as Providers
Today, that same Provider data lives in our Provider Management App (PMA) on Launchpad, and it does a lot more than sit there.
We've built workflows that surface status updates, flag risks early, and automatically route requests to the right stakeholders. On top of that, custom landing pages and dashboards turn the underlying data into self-serve readouts: roster health, utilization, contract milestones, and early risk indicators. Anyone from a Provider Success Manager (PSM) to an executive can pull the view they need without filing a request or waiting on a spreadsheet refresh. We also have AI agents so that anyone can chat virtually with our provider data and learn what’s going on.
What's been most exciting is watching one platform take on more of the work. What started as a better way to manage Provider data has expanded into a system that supports:
- Resource planning
- Initiative tracking
- Cross-team coordination
Every week, it seems as though someone finds another application to bring to life on Launchpad, and the list keeps growing.
Take our Job Rotation program.
Our Product Engineering team needed a secure, scalable way to coordinate open rotational roles and applicants across the organization, with enterprise-grade data protection built in from day one. Using Blueprint and Launchpad, they stood up a fully functional application in just a few weeks.
It's been running quarterly ever since, and we're preparing to roll it out company wide as part of Pega's ongoing commitment to employee growth and mobility.
New use cases continue to emerge, and the combination of Blueprint and Launchpad has become the fastest path we've found from idea to production-ready application that’s secure, flexible and designed to evolve with the business.
Cheers to that, and to whatever we build next on Launchpad.
