Launchpad at AWS re:Invent 2025: Agentic SaaS in 5 Steps
AWS re:Invent 2025 was a huge week for Launchpad. Hundreds of visitors stopped by our booth to try Launchpad Blueprint first-hand and design real agentic app workflows in minutes.
But the standout moment of the week was our Lightning Talk with John Huehn, Chief of Launchpad, and Steve Bixby, Pega’s SVP of Product Engineering. Their challenge:
Build a fully functional, enterprise-grade agentic SaaS app—live, on AWS—in just 15 minutes.
And they did.
From idea to revenue: the HomeLend demo
Using a fictional fintech, HomeLend, John and Steve showed how to fix a painful mortgage pre-approval process—the kind that cost “Sarah” her dream home after waiting two days for a letter.
With Launchpad, they rebuilt the entire experience in 5 steps:
1. Make the design
A GenAI-powered Blueprint turned a simple prompt into a full workflow based on Pega’s 40 years of expertise.
2. Make it real
Launchpad instantly provisioned a secure, scalable, multi-tenant AWS environment. No DevOps. No infrastructure decisions.
3. Make it work
They added agentic intelligence—automating manual underwriting steps like tax return validation and employment verification—while keeping everything deterministic and controlled through workflow logic.
4. Make it available
With one click, they onboarded a subscriber bank into its own production-ready environment. The workflow worked seamlessly across chat, mobile, SMS, and voice.
5. Make it rain
From there, it’s pure scale. Launchpad’s built-in multitenancy and subscriber management let providers onboard thousands of B2B customers.
Why it resonated
Attendees kept saying the same thing:
I didn’t think building this kind of SaaS product could be so fast—or this real.
We loved meeting everyone who stopped by to try Blueprint and see how Launchpad brings enterprise-grade, agentic apps to life without heavy coding, infrastructure headaches, or unpredictable AI.
