The 5 Launchpad Agent Skills we just released
The five Pega Launchpad agent skills offer developers a practical guide for selecting the optimal integration path. Each skill is designed to streamline development and improve solution quality:
DX API: Connect external systems to Launchpad cases and data using REST interfaces. Use this skill for use cases such as extracting data from applications, building command line tools or kicking off workflows from external applications.
Web Embed: Integrate Launchpad experiences directly into websites and portals. Common use cases are for embedding workflows, insights, or task lists directly into existing web applications.
Custom UX Components: Create Constellation-friendly extensions for specialized user experiences. Need a highly customized calendar control? This skill will be your best friend. Read about it here.
Custom Functions: Add reusable business logic in Java, Python, or Node.js when standard rules aren't sufficient. Whether you have a propriety business algorithm in Python or need to integrate with non-standard protocol, this skill makes creating custom Functions simple and fast.
Custom Front Ends: Build full React applications on top of the Pega SDK. This skill lets you take your application and give it a fully vibe coded front end using React and Typescript. This is most applicable when you have very specific, usually consumer-facing, UX requirements that really require pixel-perfect design. While this pattern is not common, when it is needed this skill will significantly reduce the time to live.
